Dear BSA Membership: The 2008 year has started out in a positive manner for the BSA as we have had a successful membership drive, a great game supper and trophy trout stocking and a kid's fishing tournament with Mickey Kissamore landing a 25 Vz inch Rainbow trout! Over 150 kids and family members were at this event. To keep you informed about the club activities we send out a letter like this every few months or you can look at our website at www.boverssportsmen's.org . Currently we are kicking off the Outdoor Adventure Package IV were you can win a canoe, fishing and camping equipment for a $1 chance. That's right... .the winning ticket will be drawn at the Boyers Summer Festival on Saturday August 2nd after the Zambelli Internationale Fireworks display! Members will be sent one book of tickets and will be asked to sell them for our Fall Tax Expense. Help us out and help keep the club active in the community. There is also a Hunter Safety Course being offered to anyone 11 years and older on July 25 th & 26 th at the Epiphany Hall in Boyers. Our club had the largest group of the 2007 classes and had eight counties represented! We will provide a hot lunch on the final day of the course to help all of our new hunters get a good start! There is no pre-registration or cost to attend the class. There will also be a Youth Field Day at the Butler City Hunting and Fishing Club on Saturday June7th. You must pre-register by contacting the PGC Office in Franklin , PA. They will have some great activities from canoeing, archery, skeet, black powder, fishing and a hot lunch. The BSA is a sponsoring club so go on down to East Butler and check out the festivities with your kids. Warmest Regards and Have a Relaxing Summer!
